Lippitt Miss Nekomia (out of Nekomia by Lippitt Moro) was described as being "exquisitely beautiful" and she was the Morgan hand picked by Dr. Parks.  Dr. Parks writes:

"In 1937, I went to Vermont, in the company of a friend to look at Morgan Horses.  After visiting several Morgan Horse farms, we arrived at the Green Mountain Stock farm in Randolph, VT.  Owned by Robert Knight.  At that time, in late August, there was a lot of horse population at the farm of thirty-one horses.  There was winter stabling for only twenty-nine horses.  We had arrived at an opportune time.  My choices of the entire heard were Lippitt Kate Moro and  Lippitt Trilby.  These were not for sale.

Three two-year-old fillies were for sale.  These were Lippitt Miss Nekomia, Lippitt Rose Ash, and Lippitt Polly Moro.  Of these three my choice was Lippitt Miss Nekomia.  My friend selected Lippitt Rose Ash.  This was during the depression and demand for horses was almost nil.  The asking price was $200.00 for each filly.  We offered $200.00 for the pair and it was accepted."
