But I'm getting ahead of myself...

Using AMHA registry records, it would seem that the chestnut mare Gill (foaled in July of 1926 out of Mansfield x Sentinel Lass and listed as being bred by Sentinel Pine Orchards, Shoreham, VT) was the first Morgan that was associated with the Allen family.  And the first foal registered by the Allens was her filly, Indian Maid (a chestnut born in 1930.)  Gill was bred by C.H. MacVey of Canton, NY, producing Indian Maid, and then the transfer of ownership is recorded as May 2, 1937.  According to an account in the Syracuse newspapers the Allen family had a "stock" farm in Fayetteville, NY prior to moving to Baldwinsville and it's possible that Gill and Indian Maid were kept there.

Gill had twelve offspring total, with the first eight while she was at Indian Spring, and then after being sold on or about 1944 to George Dygert, she produced four more foals, all sired by Cornwallis's fine son Allen's Seneca Chief.

Gill's foals when with the Allen family:

1930 M Chest INDIAN MAID x  MONTEREY no record of transfer

1938 S Chest COLONEL’S BOY x CORNWALLIS, transferred 1941
to Chilocco Agricultural School in Chilocco, Oklahoma and credited with 63 foals in the registry with his last foal in 1959.

The Morgan Horse Magazine in 1966.

1939 M Chest RUTHVEN’S BEATRICE ANN x CORNWALLIS
She went on to produce 17 foals starting in 1945 so it's logical that she would have been transferred in 1944.  You'll find her behind many of the "Kanes" prefix horses as well as being the dam of Ayelien Richards broodmare Ruthven's Nancy Ann - who was the dam of Trophy's Emerald and Trophy's Jade.

1940 M Chest SCARLETT x CORNWALLIS
Transferred 1941 to Henry Fleisher of Sagerstown, Penn

1941 G Chest STAR BRIGHT x CORNWALLIS, transferred 1944
Was sold to Ev Rodee and became her famous parade horse

1942 M Chest GILL’S BABE x CORNWALLIS, transferred 1944
one of her foals was Leader's Janie Babe who ended up with Claire Murphy and Fiddler's Green farm, and who's filly Flashy Babe was the foundation broodmare for Sunny Acres

1943 M Chest COLONEL’S LASSIE x CORNWALLIS, transferred 1944 to Mrs. Lawrence Lindsey of Spragueville, NY

1944 M Chest DEE-DAY x CORNWALLIS, transferred 1945 to Dr. Edwin W. Roberts, Watertown, NY
