It’s 1990 and we’re at 482 entries.  Larry Bolen and Jacqueline Millet are among the judges.  It’s during this show that there are two special events – a retirement ceremony for Saddleback Supreme, and a special exhibition of the four time World Champion UVM Promise with Judy Whitney in the saddle. In 1991 Pierre Loiselle and Debbie Seybold help judge.  Our most popular class was the Novice Hunter Pleasure class with 31 entries.  Super J Ben Son – a Snook family entry won Section A and Stoney Hill Watch Me was on top in Section B.  Mary Ellen Mulligan and Stoneleigh Nitethyme won a tough Junior English Pleasure Championship after a workoff.  Fiddler’s On Parade and Joseph Virgo were the Classic English Pleasure Champions. There are 367 entries in 1992 under the eye of Peggy Alderman, Larry Mayfield and Chris Nelsen. UVM Tennyson was our Grand Champion Stallion.  Terri Zimmer and Fiddler’s Fable were our Western Pleasure Champions.  Directus was our Park Saddle Champion.  Our Western Leadline winner was Willie Vidler (that’s Will Vidler now!)  Show results here

James Brown and Tim Murray are among the Judges in 1993.  The ever popular Acoma’s Escapade and Carolyn Bertram were our Road Hack Champions.  Bob Dunham and Lookaways I Command put on quite a show winning the Roadster to Bike Championship.  Green Meads Emily, Joe Cribbs mare driven by Dale Vidler were our High-Point Carriage Driving Champions.  Alf Black Dynasty and Dana Schmid were our Open Park Saddle and Amateur Park Saddle Champions. It’s on to 1994 with 400 entries.  Terri Rickford , Bernard Parker and John McDonald judge.  We introduced our first NYSMHS Pro-Am Tug of War contest.  With a keg of beer at stake, the amateurs pulled their way to victory in two out of three tries.  With my special gelding Scotch on the Rocks – I won my first NY Morgan Classic Pleasure Driving Championship.  Love’s Masterpiece is our Amateur Western Pleasure Champion.  Show results here
1995 was down to about 300 horses, and it was determined that thereafter the dates would move one week earlier to help attract those that might skip the show because it was so close to the Grand National.  Gale Lampe, Kathy Shorten and John Greenall were among the Judges. UVM Valcour and Christine McDermott were the Amateur Hunter Pleasure Champions.  Wintop’s Posy Pepper owned by Claire Ecker won the Breeder’s Sweepstakes four-year old Pleasure Saddle Class.  In the Sweepstakes four-year old Park Saddle Class, Mary Ellen Mulligan and Stoneligh On Her Guard won the blue. 1996 sees the show one week earlier in September and Harry Sebring, Dale Rickford and Tim Morrell judge.  Beam’s Nighthawk wins our Road Hack Championship.  A-L-Hollyberry Love and Marie Vandermark win the Amateur English Pleasure Championship.  And remember Katie Moynihan and Ladys Enticement…they won the Amateur Park Saddle Championship. Irish Revelation was named the Senior Champion Stallion, Grand Champion Stallion, Open English Pleasure Champion and Open Pleasure Driving Champion in 1997. Twenty two weanlings turned out for the sweepstakes class on Saturday night.  UVM Faith was the unanimous choice of judges Phil Fountain, Dwayne Knowles and Jante Blagden Barber. In 1998 we lost our “Regional” status, but quality horses still made for very stiff competition.  In an effort to minimize the time children were out of school there were 23 classes added on Sunday.  Rock Walker and Cindy Mungier shared in Judging duties.  The handsome Corrick with Judy Nason aboard took home the Junior Western Pleasure Championship for Bruce and Cindi Schmitt.  Joan Sackett’s Caja’s First Knight was reserve.  Nancy Herrick rode Aquarian Hi Society to the Open and Amateur Western Pleasure Championships. Bonnie Sogoloff and Helen Crawford officiated our 1999 show.  Judy Murray and River of Dreams were our Reserve Western Pleasure Open Champions.  Our halter Grand Champions were:  Mare; HVK Stueben  Stallion; RJM Pardon My French  Gelding; Wintop’s Mr. Pepper. Show results here
