| This scrapbook was assembled by Joan Sackett around 1995.
In an effort to make the NYSMHS History Archives available to all
interested parties, we're pleased to present this information on-line.
The credit for collecting the data and photos for this album goes to
the NYSMHS Historian at the time, Mary Arnold. Mary was a
wonderful source of data and history about the Morgans and owners from
our NYSMHS family.
The materials as gathered by Joan and Mary follow.

Lippitt Field Marshal was bred by Robert L. Knight.
In 1945 he was sold to Frank Curtis, then in 1956 sold to John
Turner. In 1958 he was purchased by Fritz Eisenhard of Warsaw,
NY where he lived until 1975. Around the age of 29 he went to Nancy Eisenhard Bankers Farm where he would live out his days.
"Marshal" spent most of his life in pasture with
his mares. He was broke to ride and was ridden a little. He
was a real gentleman and was trusted with children or any one, any
where. He was a family pet. Read more about "Marshmellow" in
Nancy Banker/Eisenhards letter to us about
Marshal.
His get were good ones. He passed his good
dispostion, beautiful heads and Lippitt confirmation. His sons were
good breeding stallions and family geldings. Most of his daughters
were family horses and excellent broodmares.
