Although Gerald has passed away his wife Anne and their daughter tell this story of a horse, and what he ment to their family, with love and great pride. I was fortunate to spend a lovely day with Anne and her daughter Donna Ashby Babbitt and after hours of good conversation, the scrapbooks came out and back we went in time. The content that follows is a result of our visit - and you'll be able to hear first-hand how Allen's Major came to live with them, his importance to their family, and how he put his stamp on future generations of fine Morgan horses. It was a thrill to learn more about this wonderful NY Bred Morgan and I hope that you enjoy this profile.
