Horse Crazy…Some of us are just born that way, and from our earliest days we can remember a desire to own a horse. Judith Gaylord (a lifetime New York State Morgan Horse Society member) can’t think of a time when her horses weren’t the main focus of her life. Never married, Judy made a family out of the many people whom she connected with through her Morgan horses, and when visiting with her it’s apparent the special relationship they have. Of Judy it was said that if you were brought to her farm chances were that you had a home for life, and many of her Morgans lived well into their years. Although her Morgan story has a tragic ending -it's Judy's love for the horses that she owned and the friends that they brought to her door that remains, and it's my pleasure to share with you our visit.
