n 1973 Judy purchased the foal Evenmist Eastercandy (Paramounts Ambassador x Cotton Candy.) Buying the yearling at her trainer’s recommendation - sight unseen, Judy was taken aback at her first meeting with the youngster, remembering "she was pink! And I mean really Pink!) She grew into an interesting Golden Buckskin color, but Judy never forgot her first impression of "Missy." Listen to her tell this story...
Highover Bell Pepper (out of Bell-O-Mine by
Donlyn of Wind-Crest) came to Judy as a yearling in 1975. A gorgeous
bay stallion he was shown for several years and then Judy donated
him to the Connecticut's
First Company Governor's Horse Guard (the oldest continuously
serving U.S. cavalry unit) in 1981 at which time he was gelded. |
