In 1948 with Skipper Ev won the Working Stock Horse class at The National, we've reproduced this photo from The Morgan Magazine.

Ev and Skipper were the first choice to lead the 4th of July Parade in Moravia, NY.

As Skip was a gelding, there were no foals to carry on his line, but he must have been largely responsible for convincing the Rodees that Morgans were a special breed, as it was during his time that they acquired their next Morgan...Brown Pepper.
