Recently I had the opportunity to interview by phone another of our longstanding NYSMHS members - Clare Simpson. I'd often seen lovely Morgan horses that carried the Winterset prefix, but I admit to not having ever having met Clare or knowing much about his Morgan story.
On the following pages I'm pleased to offer up the conversation that I had with Clare - it's been a long and remarkable path he's taken from Cimarron, KS to Katonah, NY.
