Left to right; Lynelle, Linda and Hallie (2008) Note: We're saddened to hear of the passing of Hallie Demass Sweeting, July 8, 2010... This is the story of one of our local Morgan owners that because she loved her Morgans, never bred many so that she didn't have to sell them. When you visit with Hallie DeMass Sweeting, you'll notice that she's contented with her farm, her animals, her family and loves to visit. Living on the same property that her Great Great Grandfather purchased in the mid-1800's gives her lots to remember. Today her daughter Linda Sweeting Smith lives next door and granddaughter Lynelle Smith has visions of someday building on the property as well. And there are still Morgan horses in the Sweeting barn. I'm happy to share some of the stories that Hallie told, and welcome you to her scrapbook...
